It's Go TIme
It's Spring, that wonderful time in the girl scout year when I ask parents to step up and help plan meetings, earn try-its.
I plan to help us complete our first Brownie key, our Native American, African American, Latin American, and maybe Jewish heritage patches. Breier will also be rescheduling a time for us to earn our Love, Hug, and groom patch out at her barn -Oaklawn. There is a try-it we can probably earn at the same time -Horsin' Around Texas.
The three primary try-its that I would like parents to volunteer to plan are:
The friendship book we have has great ideas for games and activities that should be applicable to to earning these try-its.If you are wondering about what we have already (or are in the process of completing), you can book mark this blog entry. We will recieve most of our try-its at our award ceremony at the end of the year. We will have a special key ceremony when after we complete our first key.
