Halloween Time

Cute costumes, incredible snacks, and happy girls made for a great Halloween party. Our three new Brownies also completed activities two and three of the Dancersize try-it.

Next Monday night we will plan our trip to Pow-Wow in the Pines.

Just a reminder that the girls will want to have SWAPS to trade at this event. There is no set number of SWAPS they need to make, but I would recommend at least 25.

Investiture and Rededication

Monday night was a great one for ceremonies and celebrations! We once again celebrated the magic of the Brownie elf and recited the twist me and turn me words to invest three new girls into our troop.
Welcome Skylar, Caroline and Sarah :)

We finished off our evening with cupcakes in honor of Juliette Low's birthday. You can see more pictures from the evening here and here...

We are almost ready to find the first key in our Brownie quest. Please complete the final activity together (in your Brownie Quest book). If you missed either the first star activity or the second activity about the law, then please complete those. Bring all completed activities to our Halloween Party on the 20th.

Remember, we are not meeting next Monday night. In lieu of our meeting, we will picking up our fall products from Anjela.

Have a great week!

Second Meeting

Miriam & Caroline
What a night! We shared our secret sister stars, went on a GS promise scavenger hunt and learned a little more about what our GS promise means.

Next Monday? Party :)

We will have a short investiture ceremony (for the new girls), a rededication ceremony (for the returning girls) and eat birthday cake in honor of our founder Juliette Low.

If you have not already read the new Brownie story, then you might want to do that before Monday. If you're daughter is interested, then here is another version of the story.

I will take care of bringing the cake and paper goods.

Please have the girls wear their new troop t-shirts and vests next Monday night.

We will use the "secret sister" SWAP in our ceremony.

Pictures from last night :)
