Second Meeting

Miriam & Caroline
What a night! We shared our secret sister stars, went on a GS promise scavenger hunt and learned a little more about what our GS promise means.

Next Monday? Party :)

We will have a short investiture ceremony (for the new girls), a rededication ceremony (for the returning girls) and eat birthday cake in honor of our founder Juliette Low.

If you have not already read the new Brownie story, then you might want to do that before Monday. If you're daughter is interested, then here is another version of the story.

I will take care of bringing the cake and paper goods.

Please have the girls wear their new troop t-shirts and vests next Monday night.

We will use the "secret sister" SWAP in our ceremony.

Pictures from last night :)

Controlled Chaos - Meeting #1

Miriam & Sarah
Our year started in a whirlwind of introductions, t-shirt and bag painting, and the beginning of our new Brownie Journey.

We welcomed three new girls to our troop :
Caroline, Sarah and Skylar!

Here are some resources for our new girls:
1. The Brownie Promise(they will need to memorize the promise for their investiture ceremony/ October 13th)
2. The Make New Friends Song
3. A picture of where to put all those pins and patches on the new Brownie vest (the mouse is a fun patch and goes on the back; the girls will get their brownie pin at their investiture ceremony)

Don't forget to complete your first secret sister exchange and bring it next Monday night to earn the second bead for your necklace :)

Thanks parents for all your help.

You can see more pictures from last night here...
